Westboro At The Oscars

The Phelps must be spreading themselves thin to be both at the Oscars and yesterday's funerals in Buffalo. But no matter, Westboro came through for us and camera crews from media outlets around the world once again noted the persecution of homosexuals by the religious right in America and the need for LGBT equality. And I'm sure after Sean Penn mentioned them from the podium of the Kodak Theater, another zillion lines of copy about religious hatred had to be written.

If the Phelps didn't exist, we'd have to invent them.
