MICHIGAN: Gay Activist Trevor Thomas Declares Candidacy For Congress

After years of feeding this blog press releases in his Communications Director roles with the Human Rights Campaign and the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, Trevor Thomas has declared his candidacy for Congress. Thomas will run against Michigan GOP incumbent Rep. Justin Amash, who won his first term during the 2010 surge of the Tea Party. Considered to be a hardcore libertarian, Amash has endorsed Ron Paul for president. We wish Mr. Thomas well.
